Dear Administrator Coen:
As you know we have a deep abiding interest in the Turner Road project and a situation has arisen that has arouse our curiosity and we would like to get some answers. Specifically, we are concerned about the "As Built" drawings and records that will be prepared at the end of the project. We have the following questions:
- Who will prepare the "As Builts" and who will be paid for this preparation?
- Is the "As Builts" for the water line being prepared under a different contract? If so, who will prepare these "As Builts" and who will be paid for this preparation?
- From what records will the "As Builts" be made?
- Is the preparer of the "As Builts" responsible for verifying the exact measurements for the "As Builts"? If not, who is responsible for the precise measurements for the "As Builts"? Please indicate all responsible people if different for the water lines.
- When and how are the exact measurements made? We ask this question because we have not observed any measurements being taken, especially as it pertains to the water lines.
- What is the total cost of the "As Builts"? If possible, itemize per sewer, drainage, and water.
